Whether you call, email or use one of the forms on this page, a few details up front help us give you a useful answer the first time. They let us work out whether the job is urgent, which parts to bring and roughly how long it will take, so you are not waiting on a second visit.

What to tell us

Start with what you are seeing: water where it should not be, no hot water, a slow drain, a smell or a noise. Let us know where it is in the property and when it started. For hot water, tell us whether the unit is electric, gas, heat pump or solar, and roughly how old it is. For new installations, the make and model of the appliance or tapware helps. If you email admin@tornaplumbing.com.au, a couple of clear photos are often worth more than a long description.

When to call instead of emailing

Email and the booking form are ideal for quotes, planned work and anything that can wait a day or two. If water is running and you cannot stop it, sewage is coming up or you can smell gas, call 1300 307 903. Torna offers an after-hours emergency service for situations like these. While you wait, turn the water off at the meter, and if gas is involved, get everyone outside and call your gas supplier's emergency line as well.

Renters, property managers and socials

If you rent, check with your property manager before booking, as most agencies arrange repairs through their own process. Property managers can email work orders with the tenant's contact details and access notes, and we report back once the job is done. You can also follow recent jobs on Instagram at @torna.plumbing and on Facebook, although a phone call or the booking form gets a faster answer.
